Riverside, CA — Inland Empire United is proud to endorse Randall Putz for California State Assembly District 34 in the November 2026 General Election.
Putz brings more than a decade of local elected experience to his campaign for State Assembly. He has served the Big Bear Lake area as both a school board member and city councilmember and currently serves as mayor of Big Bear Lake.
His campaign has focused on challenges particularly important to High Desert communities, including access to healthcare, housing affordability, infrastructure and broadband, and ensuring communities receive their fair share of state investment. Putz has also emphasized bringing local voices into state decision-making through town halls, advisory councils, and greater engagement between state agencies and the communities affected by their decisions.
That experience is particularly relevant in Assembly District 34, which stretches across communities in San Bernardino, Los Angeles and Kern counties. The district includes High Desert communities where long distances, infrastructure needs and access to public services can shape residents’ everyday lives.
Inland Empire United’s endorsement reflects our commitment to supporting leaders who understand the distinct needs of Inland Empire communities and will work to ensure residents have a stronger voice in the decisions made in Sacramento.
The November General Election will take place on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. To view Inland Empire United’s complete slate of endorsed candidates, visit: https://ieunited.org/2026-endorsements/
