RIVERSIDE, Calif. — Inland Empire United is proud to endorse Loretta Perez for Coachella Valley Unified School District Trustee Area 2, recognizing her commitment to educational equity, family advocacy, and creating safer schools for every student.
Strong public schools are built through collaboration between educators, families, and communities. Inland Empire United believes every student deserves access to safe learning environments, meaningful educational opportunities, and leaders who listen to the people they serve.
Loretta Perez brings years of firsthand advocacy as a parent of children with disabilities and as founder of the United for Autism & Abilities Foundation. Through her work, she has helped families navigate special education, expanded inclusive opportunities for youth, and connected immigrant families with critical community resources.
Her priorities include improving fiscal accountability, increasing transparency and accessibility throughout the district, and addressing longstanding school facility concerns so students can learn in safe, healthy environments.
Perez has also worked alongside community organizations to advance disability inclusion, strengthen anti-bullying protections, advocate for adaptive recreation, and expand support for immigrant families and students. She believes school boards should remain accountable to the communities they represent by maintaining open communication and ensuring parents have a meaningful voice in district decision making.
