We are writing to share bittersweet news that after seven years with IE United and IE United Ed
Fund our Executive Director, Sky Allen will be departing this week with her last day being
this Friday, August 28, 2026.
Sky started as Census Coordinator leading coalition collaboration for the Inland Empire’s 2020
Census campaign. She later became Executive Director where she helped establish the
organizations as independently incorporated. She grew the organizations’ budget and team and
has made IE United and IE United Ed Fund critical to the fabric and infrastructure for driving just
social and economic change and civic participation to the Inland Empire.
On behalf of the Boards of both Inland Empire United and Inland Empire United Education
Fund, we extend our thanks and appreciation for her commitment to building power for our
tables and communities.
This transition opens the opportunity to uplift new leadership to guide us into the next phase of
growth. While this may be news for many, our staff, coalition partners, and Board members have
been preparing for the last year to ensure a smooth transition and continue our critical civic
engagement work this midterm election.
We look forward to our continued partnership during this transition, and you may reach out to
