Inland Empire United Endorses Keri Then for Riverside Community College District Trustee Area 5

RIVERSIDE, Calif. — Inland Empire United is proud to endorse Keri Then for Riverside Community College District Trustee Area 5, recognizing her commitment to expanding educational opportunity, strengthening workforce development, and supporting student success.

Community colleges play a vital role in creating pathways to higher education, family-sustaining careers, and economic mobility. Inland Empire United supports leaders who are committed to ensuring students have the resources they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

An educator, veteran, and current Riverside Community College District trustee, Keri Then has focused her leadership on improving student retention and degree completion, expanding career technical education, and increasing dual enrollment opportunities for local high school students.

During her time on the board, she has supported investments in workforce training, student housing, sustainability initiatives, and programs that reduce barriers to higher education. She has also advocated for basic needs services, affordable degree pathways, and support for veterans, first-generation students, LGBTQ+ students, and other historically underserved communities.
