Riverside, CA — As communities across the Inland Empire prepare for the November General Election, Inland Empire United is proud to endorse Denise Delgado for Mayor of Coachella.
Strong local leadership shapes the future of every community. From economic development and housing to public safety and infrastructure, mayors help set the vision for how cities grow and how residents experience local government. Inland Empire United believes those decisions should be guided by leaders who are deeply connected to the communities they serve.
Denise Delgado has spent much of her life serving Coachella. Before being elected to the City Council, she served on numerous city commissions and committees, including the Planning Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, Library Committee, Economic Development Committee, Public Safety Committee, and Engineering Committee. Her campaign is centered on strengthening Coachella’s economy, expanding workforce opportunities, increasing affordable housing, investing in public infrastructure, and improving quality of life for working families. Delgado’s priorities reflect both her experience in local government and her lifelong connection to the city she hopes to lead.
Throughout her public service, Delgado has emphasized transparency, community engagement, and accountability. She has supported efforts to increase public participation in city government, strengthen ethical standards for elected officials, and ensure residents have meaningful access to information and decision-making.
Her record also reflects a commitment to issues that matter across the Inland Empire, including affordable housing, environmental stewardship, economic opportunity, and ensuring that local growth benefits working families.
