Riverside, CA — Inland Empire United today announced its endorsement of Maliha Williamson for Riverside County Board of Education Trustee Area 1 in the June 2, 2026 primary election.
Students and families across Riverside County deserve leadership that is committed to equity, safety, and access to opportunity within public education. Inland Empire United believes Maliha Williamson brings a strong commitment to student advocacy and a clear vision for more inclusive and accountable education systems.
Williamson has centered her work on supporting students and families, particularly those navigating barriers related to immigration status, access to resources, and educational opportunity. As a first-generation immigrant and community mentor, her leadership reflects a deep understanding of the challenges facing students and the importance of building systems that support them.
